The Gravity of the Situation

...or How do you teach something you can't see?

One of the challenges the team has come across is teaching the students about gravity. We have struggled with trying to figure what can a second grader comprehend in terms of gravity.

It appears that 7 year olds and their teachers aren't the only ones with the problem of understanding gravity. Physicists around the world are still trying comprehend gravity too.

Science Friday recently had a segment about an international conference that took place in January. Scientists and researchers met to discuss just what they don't understand and what are possible avenues to gain more knowledge about gravity.
